We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team and support the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
Pharmacy Operations
- Dispense medications accurately as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage accuracy, drug interactions, contraindications, and appropriateness.
- Support Inpatient (IP) and Outpatient (OP) pharmacy operations.
- Ensure safe storage, handling, and dispensing of medicines in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain pharmacy registers, documentation, and statutory records.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted availability of medicines and consumables.
- Track batch numbers, expiry dates, near-expiry stock, and damaged inventory.
- Conduct stock audits, stock reconciliation, and periodic inventory verification.
- Coordinate procurement requirements with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Minimise stock variances, wastage, and expiries through effective inventory control practices.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Pharmacy Council guidelines, and hospital policies.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal and external inspections.
- Adhere to SOPs related to pharmacy operations, medication safety, and inventory management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimisation activities.
Clinical & Patient Support
- Provide medication counselling and guidance to patients when required.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and clinical teams regarding medication-related queries.
- Promote safe medication practices and patient-centric pharmaceutical care.
Eligibility Criteria:
- D.Pharm or B.Pharm qualification.
- Valid Karnataka Pharmacy Council registration.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Hospital Pharmacy.
- Experience in Inpatient (IP) Pharmacy preferred.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Hospital Management Systems (HMS) or pharmacy software.
- Strong inventory management and stock control skills.
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and audit requirements.
